Bennett to Discuss Benefits of Peer Mentoring
Senior Rachel Bennett's thesis project on peer mentoring will have a national audience when she presents at the National Youth At-Risk Conference in Savannah, Ga. March 2-5, 2008. Rachel is co-presenting with her mentor, Kristene Ruddle, of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Indianapolis. The conference trains adults who serve youth to create safe, healthy, caring and intellectually empowering educational environments that foster the well-being of children and adolescents.


Senior Study Tables
Seniors who need extra help with project work are invited to attend study tables every Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Contact Shaunette Byers.


IndyGo Bus Passes

Student News

Congratulations to junior Jerry Hall, who participated in a summer theatre training program at the Indiana Repertory Theatre.

Seniors Sulaiman Talib, Amanda Horn , Andy Jansen and Brittney Higgins along with math teacher Tom Kaster spent a week in El Salvador this summer providing assistance to medically-underserved youth.

Students Chuck Watkins, Marc Footman , Caleb Adams and Andy Duebner traveled to England this summer, where they went on neighborhood tours, visited Nottingham and Buckingham palaces and other historic sites and learned about the country's culture.
